Terms & Conditions

These terms cover services provided by J.D Collins & K.E Collins (ABN 96 034 505 403) trading as JC Linemarking, referred to as "JC Linemarking", "we" or "us". By accepting a quote or engaging us to carry out work, you agree to these terms.

1. Quotes

Quotes are free and provided in writing after a site measure or a review of your plans. A quote is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise. Quotes are based on the site conditions and information available at the time. If the scope or conditions change, we will issue a revised quote before doing extra work.

2. Booking and site access

You agree to provide safe and clear access to the work area at the agreed time. Areas to be marked must be free of vehicles, stock and obstructions. If the area is not ready and the work cannot proceed, a call-out or rescheduling charge may apply.

3. Weather and scheduling

Line marking depends on the weather. Paint needs a dry surface and suitable conditions to bond and cure. If weather prevents safe or lasting work, we will reschedule with you as soon as practical. We are not liable for delays caused by weather.

4. Payment

Payment terms are stated on the quote or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are due on the terms shown. We are registered for GST, and prices include GST where stated. Ownership of any supplied materials passes on payment in full.

5. Variations

Any work beyond the quoted scope is a variation. We will price variations and get your approval before carrying them out.

6. Workmanship and wear

We carry out work with due care and skill and to the standards named in the quote. Line marking wears over time. Wear depends on traffic volume, surface condition, cleaning methods and weather, and is not a defect. If you have a concern about completed work, contact us promptly and we will inspect it and work with you to put it right.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy you have under that law.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the services is limited to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having them resupplied. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes are subject to the courts of Queensland.
